Our Team

Melissa began her career with Insurance Associates as an intern before joining the team as the in-house accountant. She later served as Operations Manager and President, and in 2025, she and her husband, Josh, purchased the agency together. Melissa earned her accounting degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College and lives in Eau Claire with Josh and their three children. She enjoys kayaking, camping, and going to concerts.

Josh began his career with Insurance Associates as an agent before becoming Sales Director and later Vice President. In 2025, he and his wife, Melissa, purchased the agency together. Josh earned his marketing degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College and is a lifelong Eau Claire resident, where he and Melissa are raising their three children. He enjoys volunteering with the Lions Club, camping, and spending time outdoors with his family.

Reanna joined Insurance Associates as a Client Service Representative in 2021 and has since worked her way into her role as an Agent. She lives in Rice Lake with her husband and their three children. In her free time, Reanna enjoys fishing, camping, and hiking with her family.

Joshua joined Insurance Associates after moving to Eau Claire to be closer to family. With a background in sales and operations for family-owned businesses, he brings that experience to the Insurance Associates team. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys reading, gaming, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

Stephanie joined Insurance Associates as an administrative assistant and enjoyed working with clients so much that she earned her Health and Life Insurance License and became an agent. A Navy veteran, Stephanie lives in Menomonie with her partner and their sons. She enjoys watching the Packers, camping, and spending time on the lake.

Emily began her career in elementary education before deciding to help families in a new way as a Licensed Insurance Agent. She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Emily lives in Eau Claire with her significant other and their three children and enjoys camping, crafting, and baking.

Val has been an agent with Insurance Associates for more than 35 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Personnel Management. After raising their two children in Eau Claire, Val and her husband returned to Northwestern Minnesota in 2021 to be closer to family. She enjoys fishing, gardening, and volunteering in her free time.

Marybeth joined Insurance Associates after retiring from the City of Eau Claire following 30 years of service. She lives in Eau Claire with her husband and enjoys spending time with her four children and eight grandchildren. Marybeth also enjoys reading, crafting and staying physically active.

Michelle joined Insurance Associates after a career in account sales, management, and customer service, bringing her passion for helping people to the insurance industry. Originally from Northern Wisconsin, she now lives in Cameron with her family. Michelle enjoys supporting her two children in their many activities, spending time with family and friends, attending community events, and taking on DIY projects.

Jineen joined Insurance Associates in 2024 and brings years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices to her role. She lives in Rice Lake and in her free time, Jineen enjoys attending festivals and live music.

Kris joined Insurance Associates in 2024 with a background in customer service and the mortgage industry. A lifelong Eau Claire resident, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 35 years, their four grown children, and five grandchildren. Kris especially loves hosting family get-togethers whenever she can.

Justin grew up in Eau Claire and earned his degree in Communications and Theatre Arts from UW-Eau Claire. After spending much of his 20s living in Colorado, he returned to Eau Claire in 2018 and fell in love with his hometown all over again. Insurance Associates is also a family connection for Justin—his mother, Val, has been an agent with the agency for more than 35 years. He enjoys skiing, traveling, the outdoors, game nights, and karaoke.
